The Brief: Currently, the eBay shopping experience is a very linear process. It starts with searching for an item and ends at the “Checkout Successful!” page. Does the “success” page actually have to be the final step? How can we make this experience more cyclical and continuously keep eBay shoppers engaged? Oh…and do it in two weeks.

Lessons Learned: Not every customer/user is the same. It’s important to understand specific users’ behaviors and goals in order to create a unique, fulfilling experience. I also learned the value of augmenting an existing experience, rather than trying to create a completely new one all of the time.

What I Did: Final mockups, facilitated meetings, helped conduct interviews and of course, sketching!
